I’ve been marketing healthcare on the internet for over a decade

Rod Solar of LiveseySolar

Rod Solar, client services director of LiveseySolar

I am the Director of Client Services with LiveseySolar. My job is to direct our team to deliver the healthcare marketing services we offer our clients.

I spend most of my time directing complex multi-resource projects implemented by our team of coordinators, designers, developers, writers and other technical specialists. The vast majority of these projects, over the past 10 years, have focused on using internet technologies to market our clients’ offerings.

Usually, I spend less than one day a week consulting directly with a few of our clients to provide advice, help plan their marketing strategies, coordinate the implementation of their tactics, and evaluate our results.

Rarer still, I deliver sales and customer service training courses that we’ve developed. I also speak at professional conferences and other industry events attended by our clients.

Finally, I write to share information we’ve learned over the years to benefit current and prospective clients that visit our website or subscribe to our blog.

Connecting

  • Connect with me on LinkedIn. I like to connect with people on LinkedIn who have similar business interests (healthcare marketing and internet marketing) and to keep up with the professional doings of people I know from other circles of life. LinkedIn is a great platform from which to share the results of my projects and to gather recommendations, so prospective clients can get an idea of what it’s like to work with me. I also aim to answer questions on LinkedIn, posed by people who are either new to healthcare marketing and internet marketing, or seasoned experts who are just looking to share experiences and bounce ideas of each other. If your involved in private healthcare and would like to connect with me, invite me to your network.
  • Follow me on on Twitter. For the longest time, I didn’t really “get” Twitter, but in the past couple of years, I’ve been using it to share healthcare marketing and internet marketing content I like, and the content I create. Twitter user have also led me to valuable content that I’d likely never stumble upon. If you’re not on Twitter, I suggest you try it to see what the hype’s all about. Whether you’re on Twitter or not, you can have a look at my profile.

Teaching healthcare marketing and sales

I love teaching.I’ve developed and taught many courses over the past 10 years to participants in North America, Europe and the Middle East. The four courses that we’ve found most effective and popular are:

Writing about healthcare marketing and internet marketing

Apart from writing all the manuals for the courses above, I enjoy writing articles about healthcare and internet marketing and sharing them on our blog.
