Ms Livesey first got the entrepreneurial bug during her summers while at university where she did an undergraduate program in biology at the University of British Columbia. After loving her work on summer marketing projects for local businesses, she jumped at the chance to be mentored by the Canadian government’s Youth Entrepreneurship Program. Following a successful business launch and competition win which allowed her business to acquire seed funding, she set out to change Canadian businesses with highly targeted direct response marketing. With her biology background, healthcare businesses were a natural fit, and soon, the company began to establish a niche in non-profits, healthcare charities, hospitals and laser eye surgery businesses. In 2002, a project in the UK exposed Laura to the lack of healthcare marketing firms in Europe, and she saw a big opportunity for the firm to expand and serve the European market. Over the last 13 years Laura has tested the effectiveness of hundreds of marketing tactics while working with clients such as the NHS, Canadian Cancer Society, GlaxoSmithKline, T-Mobile, ExxonMobil and many high quality laser eye surgery clinics. Laura has a passion for developing an authentic voice for clients that establishes them as an important niche player in their market.
